The included emporiaSMARTcover adds further unique and patented functionality and of course protects the screen. Whilst closed, the smart cover allows access to key features, through 4 domed buttons to make or receive a call, take a photo or video or use the handy torch, all without having to unlock your phone. These 4 buttons adapt to the function used offering more control, for example, access to your phonebook or turning off the flash, adding even more simplicity.
Included in the box is a detailed training book along side the user-guide. Once you are set-up, the training book helps you to learn at your own pace the world of smartphones. From understanding common used terminology, to Data plans and WiFi through to subjects that include what is an App and why to download one, how to make video calls, how to set-up WhatsApp family groups, how to get the best from Facebook safely and much more. The training book will also help you to get the most out of the triple-lens camera system. Introducing and helping you to practice using depth-of-field (Bokeh), close-up (macro), night time mode and portrait modes to help you take stunning photos. With the emporia training book, you will independently master your smartphone and confidently use all the key functions and more.
For extra peace of mind and safety, every Emporia phone comes with a patented Emergency function built in, so that loved ones are close by when you need them most. With a single long press or 3 quick presses (to avoid accidental pressing) the emergency function starts, sending a text message which includes the GPS location of the device to 5 defined contacts. After sending the text, the phone will then call each number in rotation until answered and accepted by the contact.
